Dates and Deadlines - Fall 2024

August 2024

• August 15
  • Graduate Student New Student Orientation 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Student Center Auditorium and International Lounge Attend virtually via Microsoft Teams
  • Last day to be admitted into a degree program for Fall 2024
  • Fall 2024 Semester begins
  • Late registration begins
  • Deadline for receipt of Graduate Scholarship Program (GSP) Applications for Fall 2024
  • Let’s Talk Graduate Studies – Getting Started Writing - Topic Generation
    3:00 - 4:30 PM (virtual)
  • Fall 2025 application opens
  • Last day to submit paperwork to the Registration Office to drop a semester-length course to be eligible for a credit/refund; change credit/audit status; and withdraw from the university with a full refund.

  September 2024

  • September 1
    • Last day to be admitted as a Nondeclared Graduate Student for the Fall 2024 semester
    • Last day for students to drop a full-term course with a full refund on SalukiNet
    • HOLIDAY - Labor Day
    • Let’s Talk Graduate Studies – Meet and Greet -Campus Lake Becker Pavilion and Boatdock 11:30 – 1:30
    • Last day to begin an assistantship for the fall semester and still receive a tuition waiver
    • Let’s Talk Graduate Studies – How to format and submit a thesis or other final paper – Noon – 1:00 pm, Student Services Building Room 307
